COME RAIN, COME SHINE
When couples think of having a wedding in Italy, one of the first requests we receive is to have their dinner "al fresco". After thinking of the great food, flowing wine, rustic and colorful atmosphere, their thoughts go to enjoying all of this outside on a warm evening.
Although Tuscany has lovely long summers, it does have 4 distinct seasons and in the past few years, the weather has become more and more unpredictable. A good venue and wedding planner always gets the wedding ready for a possible Plan B. Remember you have to always like your Plan B as well, so the choice of good tenting is important for your big day. Should it not be as warm and sunny as hoped, you will not feel disappointed if you have a pretty tent ready on order.
Sometimes this means ordering partial or full tenting with sides that pull closed and even install heating units. On the flip-side, there are super sunny days when the temperatures peak 35°C or more. In these cases, you have to think about protecting yourself and your guests from the harsh rays. Tents with air-con, large umbrellas or chupah type covering are perfect for ceremony and aperitivo areas.
It's always smart to get a quote and factor this possible cost into your venue budget if you want (or need, depending on the venue's inside facilities) to be outside for your wedding day events.
